Angie L. Pineda began her writing career in 2009 at Biola University where she became an ambassador and spokes model. She was also a part of the PR staff and recruited potential students all over the world who were interested in going to BIOLA University. By that time, she had completed a total of three years of biological anthropology and Communications education. She left Biola to pursue journalism and began working as the life editor on the Lariat newspaper. After her first semester on the Lariat news, she became the editor-in-chief where her first big news story was aired on the FOX11 news and Orange County's KFI radio station. During her time as editor, the OC Register, the Patch, and other media outlets attributed her work. Her Lariat News editorial received first place in California’s All-State JACC 2014 conference. She became interested in video journalism after she reported and made a video on issues with the LGBT community. She is currently completing her advertisement and literature degree at California State University Fullerton. Angie interned during Fashion Week LA for the publicist team and coordinated the Project Ethos event. After reporting for Patch News in Mission Viejo during the summer of 2013, she was hired to be a part of the digital team for Dick Clark Productions and contributed much of her work for the American Music Awards and Crisp Daily News. During June 2015, Angie was appointed by Princess Sikhanyiso Dlamini and the royal family to be the Master of Ceremony and host Miss Swaziland World Tourism. After years of working in advertisement she now contributes much of her time to writing, branding, designing, marketing.
